Open Beta Delayed

Thanks to intrepid forumite, Matheous, we have confirmed that the Final Fantasy XIV open beta scheduled to begin on September 1, 2010 has been delayed on European and North American servers. Developers are citing 'critical bugs' as the reason behind the delay.

    FINAL FANTASY XIV Open Beta Test, which is scheduled to begin at 19:00 (PDT) on Aug. 31, 2010, will be postponed due to a confirmation of critical bugs. Final Fantasy XIV gil. New schedule will be release? at a later date.
